Villa Pecatu Bali

Villa Pecatu is a private residence located in Pecatu, Bali, designed by Wahana Architects and completed in 2013. Situated on a 1,600 m² hilly limestone site, the villa spans 900 m² and comprises five bedrooms, including three guest rooms, along with various recreational facilities.

The design divides the villa into two primary structures: one housing the foyer, living room, dining area, and pantry, all opening towards the outdoor pool and landscaped gardens; the other containing guest bedrooms on the ground floor and a sky lounge above. These structures are connected by a semi-outdoor bridge, harmonizing with the site's contours and offering panoramic views. Natural materials like stone and wood are prominently featured, with the base and façade exuding solidity, while upper levels incorporate glass to convey lightness and transparency. This approach not only enhances the architectural experience but also fosters a delicate integration with the surrounding environment.

The villa's layout reflects a balance between public and private spaces, with service areas discreetly integrated into the hillside basement. The architectural form, reminiscent of a "C" shape, is oriented to capture views of the hills and beaches of South Bali, embodying a design that is both modern and deeply connected to its natural context.
